Zeus & Company was founded in 1997 by David Levy who had discovered several all natural and healthy pet food products that his dog, Zeus, enjoyed and loved. It was this discovery that impelled Levy to bring more all natural and healthy pet food products to the Chicago and surrounding areas - thus improving the nutrition and health of pets.
To understand the pet food business firsthand, Levy purchased a pet store in Waukegan, Illinois. With the experience of actually operating a store, Levy developed delivery procedures and schedules, pricing programs and product lines that would best serve his wholesale customers. Today, he delivers top nutrition to pets through independent pet supply stores, veterinary clinics and kennels.
The company was named for Levy’s Rottweiler, Zeus. It was Zeus' enthusiastic reaction to those first pet products that convinced him to start his business. Zeus & Company continually searches for the highest quality products and most nutritious pet foods to add to its selection.
